I came across an amazing stop motion piece by Screen Novelties (based in Los Angeles). They're a stop-motion house that does some of the most beautiful animation I've seen in the genre. Not only that, but they're smart with their style choices also.
Watch the Flinstones short. Notice the foreground crowd while Fred struts through the mob of press. They're completely blue, and still - great use of color perspective, framing, and a nod to old school limited animation techniques.Check out their website at: http://www.screen-novelties.com/
